Be Thankful for a Better Tomorrow

"I can't make it!"
"He will probably deny his feelings for me."
"My husband is a couch potato!"

Those are just few of the examples of complaining and pessimism that we hear from people throughout the globe. Some people are optimistic and some are pessimistic. However, when people complain on everything, it doesn't mean they are unhappy. It only means that bad things happened in their lives. If you will to monitor people from everywhere, they seem to complain a lot regardless of life's circumstances.

Now a days, people are always complaining and never seem to stop.

"A doubted person is a dangerous person. Never let anyone discourage you from what you want to do. Those people that discourage other people are the ones who discourage themselves and think the possible is impossible".

A statistic shows that an average people complains 15 to 30 times a day and it will not only risk our relationship with other people and the things that surrounds us but it will as well affect our health. When people complain, they become stress. Stress makes our immune system weak as it reduce immunity which may lead to the entrance of bacteria in our body.

How we treat complaining is to think positively on the brighter side of things that happened. It may seem to be difficult specially when you got hurt, but as you see its light shine on the other side of the horizon, you will know what it means, the reason it happened and the beginning of something new which is much better than the past.

Let me just give you an inspiring poem on how we should be thankful enough for all the things entrusted to us.

I AM THANKFUL

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE WIFE
WHO SAYS IT'S HOTDOGS TONIGHT,
BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE HUSBAND
WHO IS ON THE SOFA BEING A COUCH POTATO,
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE TEENAGER
WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING THE DISHES
BECAUSE THAT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME
AND NOT ON THE STREETS.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE TAXES
THAT I PAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
THAT I AM EMPLOYED.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE MESS
TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
THAT I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE CLOTHES
THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

I AM THANKFUL FOR MY SHADOW
THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE.

I AM THANKFUL FOR A LAWN
THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING,
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE A HOME.

I AM THANKFUL FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS
THAT WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND THAT I HAVE BEEN
BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

I AM THANKFUL FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE LADY
BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
THAT SINGS OFF KEY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
THAT I CAN HEAR.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE PILE
OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

I AM THANKFUL FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

I AM THANKFUL FOR THE ALARM
THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS
THAT I AM ALIVE.
